These standards govern everything we publish on CulturePulse. They exist to make our editorial decisions legible to readers, and to hold ourselves accountable when we fall short.
Independence
CulturePulse does not accept payment, gifts, or preferential access in exchange for coverage. Studios, streaming platforms, and publishers cannot influence our editorial decisions. We disclose when we have received screener access or press materials for a review.
Accuracy
We verify information before publishing. When we report on rumours or unconfirmed information, we say so explicitly. We do not publish speculation as fact.
When we make a factual error, we correct it promptly and transparently. Corrections appear at the top of the article with the date of the update and a brief description of what changed. We do not silently edit articles after publication.
Reviews
Our reviews represent the honest opinion of the reviewer. We do not adjust verdicts based on the popularity of a title, fan sentiment, or studio relationships. A reviewer who has a personal relationship with a creator or production company discloses this and may recuse themselves from reviewing that work.
Sources
We name our sources where possible. When a source requests anonymity, we consider whether the information is sufficiently important to justify publishing without attribution, and we tell readers that a source asked not to be named.
Images and artwork
We use official press imagery under editorial licence. Fan-created artwork is credited to the artist with a link to the original work. We do not publish artwork without the creator's permission or a clear editorial licence basis.
Corrections and complaints
If you believe we have made a factual error or have a complaint about our coverage, contact us at editorial@culturepulse.media. We aim to respond within 48 hours. Substantiated corrections will be published prominently on the relevant article.
What we do not publish
Paid editorial content of any kind. Unverified personal information about private individuals. Content designed to harass or demean specific individuals or communities. Speculation presented as confirmed fact without appropriate caveats.
